Did the entire band have these conditions? He could have also used this time to put extra focus onto new routines instead of rehashing routines hardly changed from the Victory tour, and chose to perform newer songs in a way that was more than miming into a microphone. Only Earth Song got a dedicated routine. A live show should be live. If you can't do it, don't do it.

@jay_quake @cris_rys7 Expecting him to perform entirely live under those conditions would be inhumane. Given that he suffered from lupus and was battling laryngitis, constantly singing and dancing simultaneously was an impossible demand. it was a theatrical and visual performance.

Actually it switches to playback shortly in. However...this is the first I have seen it where he at least attempts to sing it live AND you can finally hear the band play it instead of full record playback...and as a result - it sounds 100x better! Yes, he is off pitch, breath control is not in order...but it doesn't matter! It just sounds 100x better when it is full live. That is why you go to see a show after all...because it is live. History tour was a disaster because of it's 90% FULL (music and vocals) record playback nature.
