Red Cross disaster volunteers responded to a home fire in Brockton Wednesday, assisting 13 people who were displaced from their multi-unit building. Volunteers provided care and financial assistance, and gave information on follow-up services.

Our volunteers were out in Mattapan and Hyde Park Saturday promoting our Home Fire Campaign program. Boston Fire Dept cadets joined 20 Red Crossers to educate residents on home fire safety and install free smoke alarms, making homes in Boston safer.

The Boston Marathon passes through 8 cities from Hopkinton to Boston in April. Our Final Finishers program is a partnership with the Boston Athletic Association, providing support to runners. Our volunteers provide caring & comfort to people finishing their Bucket List marathon
