I get irritated when astronomical events are sensationalized with fake photos. THIS is the "smiley face" that will be in the sky on the 25th, created by the moon, Venus, & Saturn. Still cute, but it's not like the in the images being shared widely. (Screenshot from Stellarium)

Bloodstains by Gaslight released this weekend while I was a Guest of Honor at Authorcon 5. This little novel full of trauma and vampires reads like a stake to the heart, and it has received excellent reviews in Rue Morgue Magazine & Cemetery Dance.
