Back to the system we've just hit 3 straight games with Brunson, KD, and Butler. Orlando loves to play everyone single coverage 1-on-1, allowing the highest ISO Freq% and highest Iso FGA in the league.
Orlando won't send any doubles at all, this defense really funnels everything inside. They allow the 11th most PITP, yet the least 3PA. Great for Harden who leads the team in drives/game with 14.2.
Harden also leads the ENTIRE LEAGUE in Iso Freq% as well at 37.3%. We've seen a lot of these high usage guys get in the paint and find crazy success. Team ISO Freq% leaders vs ORL:
- Butler: 33 pts (10/16 FGA)
- Durant: 35 pts (13/24 FGA)
- Brunson: 31 pts (10/23 FGA)
- Avdija: 27 pts (7/18 FGA)
- Brown: 32, 27 pts (15/28, 10/24 FGA)
Harden’s had a relatively rough schedule in terms of Iso Freq% allowed. Without Kawhi, 6 of his 7 games have been against teams in the top half of the league in limiting iso’s. Even with that, Harden is 5/7 to this line averaging 29 ppg. Against a weaker iso unit, the potential is nuclear.
