The only time I can remember when the hero of the movie did kill the villain in a Disney movie is in Atlantis, at first it was just slash of glass,but after that energy turn the commander into THAT, milo seemed pretty unphased by the death,until he came back to life for 2 seconds

I think it’s incredibly funny that this deadass seems to be the one Pixar movie that has like NO dedicated fandom.
Like Cars 2 has people that enjoy it ironically and The Good Dinosaur has its fans but like you never see NO ONE that fw Lightyear.

I think in the end the biggest problem with Lightyear is that Pixar forgot that Buzz Lightyear is a PARODY of sci fi heroes and movies When you try to take him 100% seriously you lose the magic

@CraftyAdrian360 I remember getting blocked by the director for calling him out on how bland the movie was and on him only blaming conservatives for the movie failing hard. Yeah it may have been a factor, but it got destroyed by Minions, Top Gun, and Jurassic World releasing that summer lmao
