@yicker French is undoubtedly a fantastic player, but the standard has dropped dramatically and Lyon went back to the NRL and continued to rip it up. He was world class and shouldn’t have been in this league.

St Helens' financial accounts for 2025 show a club under significant pressure. They have net liabilities of almost £2.9 million, as its net asset position fell from £313,258 in 2024 to a net liability of £2,891,096 in 2025 – a deterioration of around £3.2 million in a single year.
