What a massively important dataset -- particularly for any NC State fan who has been quick to have criticize Coach Wade this year (which has been really disappointing and mind-boggling to me) Takeaway here is simple -- based on the talent coming into the season, Coach Wade coached UP the team and slightly outperformed the expectation. If you want to complain about the composition of the team and the talent on the roster, then that's an entirely completely different topic. It also would seem to indicate that you just Want to be unhappy and criticize. In light of how grossly unfair it would be to criticize the composition of a roster that couldn't even start taking place until after Coach Wade's hire date of March 23 last year. That will be a roster that returned one single player from last year's team. Just imagine how we would have outperformed with just a few breaks going our way in a couple of those heartbreaking losses. Even with those losses, State delivered better than preseason expectation with what they had.

1. Herb wasn't fired. He left on his own. 2. it was 20 years ago 3. He was fired from ASU 4. Has done next to nothing at Santa Clara 5. Even Kevin Keatts made the final 4 at NC State. So "Making the tourney" should be our metric for success? Nah. Let it go @DickieV

Yes one team off the BUBBLE must be @SantaClaraHoops after beating @saintmaryshoops for the 2nd time .Have said often HERB SENDEK is a terrific coach who got raw deal at NC State after taking team 5 straight years to @MarchMadnessMBB was let go .The @WCChoops will get 3 into @NCAA
