@RealLifeFakeWiz I haven't felt anything during that entire show, except when Jensen Ackles was on screen. He plays the 1 and only character that they made better than the comic. Everyone else sucks.

With each season of The Boys, the creators kept trying to one-up themselves on how gruesome they could be. By the end, death means nothing. Because life means nothing. The whole series was a mystery box of: "How will they kill Homelander?" And as he dies you feel... nothing.

I honestly don’t understand why people are complaining about Homelander’s ending in the final season of The Boys. Come on, it’s the finale. Butcher and the team had only one real chance, so obviously they were going to go all out. And realistically, Butcher and Ryan are strong enough to challenge Homelander. I don’t see the issue there. People also forget that Homelander was never some honorable or ethical man who would rather die than beg. Once he lost his power, he lost everything that made him feel superior. At that point, survival became his only goal, and he was willing to do anything for it. Honestly, it’s pretty well written. People are just overanalyzing and making it more complicated than it is. And let’s be real, it’s still a better finale than Game of Thrones and Stranger Things.

The Boys, Season 5 Finale review. > Fight scenes could've been longer and better > Frenchie's funeral should've been impactful, they turned it into a joke > Terror's death was sad > Homelander's death was pathetic as expected > Finally, Deep got what he deserved > MM will raise Ryan > Hughie and Starlight got a happy ending > Kimiko has a sad ending, but she'll move on Average end to a trash season. There was no reason to kill Butcher off.

3 reasons why The Boys Season 5 failed 1. Rushed ending:- Years of buildup but the finale wrapped major storylines way too fast, making big moments feel forced instead of earned. 2. Wasted character arcs:- Several fan-favorite characters got disappointing payoffs, with twists and deaths feeling more like shock value than real storytelling. 3. No satisfying payoff:- Fans expected an insane, unforgettable final showdown but got an ending that felt smaller and less impactful than the hype promised. That’s why the finale is getting slammed by fans.

@Sephanade Everything was too rushed they could have done this in season 3 when Butcher and maive had him held for Soldier boy to blast him. They really fumbled the last 2 seasons even though there were a couple of great moments here and there.

All that only for it to end with Homelander looking this entirely helpless and pathetic without his powers :) They really took bro from a god to a straight joke. 💀 Did Homelander’s ending satisfy you, or were you expecting something different?
