I’d much rather see an academy player in the squad than Burgzorg, absolute waste of a loan signing. Atleast we’d be looking long term at no loss of ability in the squad, Earthy did more in 25 minutes in his best position than he’s done in all of his games aswell #BristolCity

If there’s a tiny positive from the January sales of Mehmeti & Vyner, it’s that the fanbase now appear to be generally supportive of selling any player heading into final year of their contract. I’m not sure that would’ve been the case for many if we’d sold that pair last summer
