I recently met with Dean Corrigan the Managing Director of Heaphys in Redditch town centre. Dean was very kind with his time and we had a long conversation about the current challenges of running his businesses, his hopes for expansion and growth. Labour has already announced plans to replace business rates, but I wanted to hear Dean's ideas on how we can help businesses like his grow and hire more people. I also got to see firsthand the care and attention that Dean and his team show to each customer. Our high streets are the beating hearts of our local economies. I'm determined to work with local business owners so that we can revolutionise the way we support and incentivise business growth. Thank you to Dean and his team for his time and for being an integral part of our high street offering in Redditch.
