A man has been jailed for four years for attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child online. Matthew Jenkins, aged 35 of Flaxley Close in Redditch, appeared at Worcester Crown Court after he pleaded guilty to all offences. Read more: orlo.uk/QuJjj

Whilst on a night shift patrol C-Shift officers, PC Peasley and PC Richards, have come across a vehicle that had been stolen a few days prior. The vehicle was recovered, the victim has been made aware and the investigation is ongoing. #PolicingPromise

This morning, (8 October) PC Wilcox from Redditch Response Team attended Nationwide Bank in Kingfisher Shopping Centre to talk to customers on how to identify and avoid fraud and scams. It was a great opportunity to share tips and how to protect themselves from the latest scams.

A Redditch man has been charged with drug offences and another man arrested after a car was stopped in Exhall Close on Friday. Jordan Wood, 31, of Evesham Mews, was charged with possession with intent to supply a class A drug – crack cocaine. More ➡️ orlo.uk/78ZFi

C-Shift in Redditch attended an address yesterday in relation to a crime enquiry. Whilst at the address officers came across 2 curved swords, 1 modified gas powered rifle and an imitation firearm. These items were seized and the investigation ongoing. #Policingpromise
