Dear @CommissionrGHMC @ZC_SLP, There has been no response from the Town Planning Office, Yousufguda Circle - 19, even after issuing a speaking order dated 26/02/2024 to B-47, Vengal Rao Nagar with House No. 8-3-191/197. It has been three months since, yet the matter has not been forwarded to the Special Task Force. - Our neighbors at B-47, have constructed 3 floors more than the permission they had taken from GHMC. They erected a five-storeyed structure by exploiting the exemptions granted to small landowners in building byelaws. They deceitfully divided a large plot of 267 sq yards into two halves to evade the mortgage requirement and setbacks. - They cheated GHMC by taking permissions for two separate buildings (Building Permit No. 3/C19/04773/2019 and Building Permit No. 3/C19/04775/2019) but illegally amalgamated them into one. - They have rented out six portions on the first three floors, making their building a commercial activity. This building was completed in 2020, but GHMC failed to act despite being aware. Our neighbours believe that once the illegal construction is completed, no one can question it. This an unequal and arbitrary application of law. We have been waiting for GHMC to take any action on the ground for more than 6 months. We even approached the High Court, where the case is pending. Justice delayed is justice denied. I request your good offices to forward the matter to the Special Task Force as per the due process of law, so that no one dares to deviate from the law.
