Simmaron Research

For decades, most ME/CFS clinical trials have been designed around symptoms. Our approach has been different. We first identified a molecular pathway involving mTOR activation and impaired autophagy, validated it in animal models, developed blood-based biomarkers, and only then tested whether targeting that pathway improved patient outcomes. Our new publication represents another step toward mechanism-based medicine in ME/CFS.
