The KJV is a great translation, but the language used is not the language used today and that leads to a bunch of errors in understanding. The NKJV uses the same base text (Textus Receptus) and updates it to modern English. It's not a correction, it's a translation into what is effectively a different language.

People who are KJV only actually believe the Bible has been preserved. The people behind the modern versions believe that the Bible has been "corrupted" and that it needs to be "restored." The traditional text is the word of God, and the modern versions are trash!

I’m confused. Did people think X was only for Americans? It’s the number one app in almost every country. Yes, some people are located outside of the U.S. Billions actually. The only thing noteworthy is when an account claims to be an American, influences our elections, and is actually a faceless botfarm in India. That’s coordinated foreign election interference. There are lots of examples of this being exposed as we speak. But living in another country and being honest about it is uh normal. K?

It's absolutely clear that the Septuagint (LXX) is the 'scripture' of Jesus & the Apostles. St Paul's crown & breastplate of righteousness (2 Timothy 4:8 & Ephesians 6:14) are obvious references to Wisdom 5:16-18. Many such examples. All of the Church fathers were well-versed in the Deuterocanonical books and regarded them as holy scripture.

Jesus may not have *quoted* the Deuterocanon, but He made reference to them often. "you will know them by their fruits" (Sirach 27:6) "like sheep without a shepherd" (Judith 11:19) Herod slaying the righteous children was prophesied in Wisdom 11:7. Even the references to God the Father are Wisdom 2:16.

Absolute trash take. NOT ONCE does Jesus ever “tell us” the Deuterocanonicals aren’t Scripture, & “He didn’t quote them” is worthless since He didn’t quote Judges, Ruth, 2 Kings, Esther, Ezra, Nehemiah, Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes, Lamentations, Obadiah, & Zephaniah either. They’re still Scripure.🧵

I love Jews because they're my neighbor and I love God. They do need Jesus, and I'm happy when I see Jews who love Jesus like you do. I actually think Christians should celebrate Hanukkah and other Biblical Jewish traditions. We are grafted into the tree of Israel, this is the history of our tribe.

Some say the reason they hate Jews is because Jews hate Jesus. Then I show up. I’m a Jew who loves Jesus more than anything—but they hate me anyway, saying if I *really* love Jesus, I need to stop being Jewish. Many Jews do not hate Jesus. People hate us because we’re JEWISH.
