I kinda wish Deltarune's secret bosses felt more like this. After Chapter 3, the bosses don't feel as special. Gerson and Pink are cool, don't get me wrong, but they don't feel "wrong."
Pre-Chapter 4 secret bosses felt "icky." Obviously Toby's work isn't bad, just miss it.

@Etsu_Desu The restruce if major events has really caused a lot of new problems for unit returns. 5 years ago only the Tanabata and Christmas banners had long return cycled since they would return on each others banners that were 6-7 motnhs apart. Now, its EVEN LONGER for them

But for Cell Max the issue is you have to run a worse version of MC's team in order to even run him. He has no other teams.

@DTR_Vector I feel like this applies to Cell Max more than Beast because Cell Max is already not on the best team setup while Beast has several slot 1s to make up for him being a slot 2, with a good team protector ability that lets him go in Slot 1 while Cell Max is all damage.

@MoffFrieren @ag_gobby It happens to all genres. Sci fi got oversatured because of how good original Star Wars was. We'll still get more good superhero movies, just they're less common now that the golden period is over. Maybe once we get animated comic adaptations again man, *cough* Wonder Woman.

I wasn’t a comic book guy, but the early 00s were so interesting for superhero movies. I enjoyed most of what I saw, even the “bad” ones like Daredevil and Hulk because they felt unique and new.
I already lost interest in Disney’s Marvel before The Avengers because it was samey.

@illusPlatypus I'm more pissed Beast won't come back til next year at the earliest. They really have to rectify that, 7 months between returns is such a bad practice when it was practically always 5 in the past. Future Gohan is the most recent example of this happening, its been 8 for him.

@RandomMGSFan I really hope so. Hope they're not in Toby's no go zone for merch since they're a Lightner/Darkner. That criteria seems to be why Gerson isn't available on any Chapter 4 merch despite being a Darkner, because of the implications for him. He's just on the vinyl cover.
