This breaks my heart. Sometimes the thing we miss most isn’t just the person. It’s the small rituals, the secret ingredients, the taste of home only they knew how to make. So many recipes are really memories in disguise.

Sir David Attenborough at 100. A reminder that a life spent helping people notice, love, and protect the world is a life well lived. Some things are too important not to preserve.

@DrMaxamillions @Wisdom_HQ Thank goodness everyone and you made it out safely! The sad reality is that many people can’t swim, and when something like this happens, every second counts. Sometimes there isn’t time to wait for a lifeguard to help.

@bluewmist At this age, I’m already thinking about how fast the years go. Not in a fearful way just in a way that makes me want to preserve the people, moments, and memories.

When people get in their 50s and 60s and up, do you start thinking about how many years you have left? I’m curious

What would make this even better?

I came across this on Facebook and it stopped me. “I’ve been looking for this recipe for years. My mom used to make them often, and I lost her recipe.” That’s exactly why I built Preserv. Because when a recipe is lost, it’s rarely just the recipe. It’s the memory attached to it.
