The idea that engram still needs to be replaced is baffling. May I remind broncos country. Engram at the signing was told by Sean that he was going to be their vertical inside the numbers guy. Didn’t pan out that way. Now, with waddle, engram is going to flourish in the intermediate routes due to waddles speed.

@MileHighReport LJH is the most impacted. Waddle will be slot. Bryant takes LJH role. Sutton Franklin outside, engram can work short like he’s good at, and waddle will stretch the middle.
Remember, engram was asked to do vertical when signing. Didn’t materialize.

Gut reaction, the Waddle trade hurts Troy Franklin the most.
Pat Bryant is your big body blocking specialist + he looked good as a WR, Mims has special teams value and big play ability.
Franklin is borderline game day inactive if everyone is healthy.

Broncos are trading for Miami WR Jaylen Waddle, per source. Denver receives: Waddle and Dolphins’ 4th-round pick (11th in round) in this year’s draft. Miami receives: Broncos’ 1st round pick (30th overall) along with their late 3rd and 4th round picks (30th in each round) in this year’s draft.
