This has happened for years all around the country. I experienced it myself about 15 years ago. It was annoying. I guess certain areas of the country get it much more often. An episode of criminal minds had a man go mad over it.

@UltraMagaFunk @GeneralMCNews The hum has been around for years. I heard it about 15 years ago…I thought it was a transformer malfunctioning outside or the power plant. My friend looked it up and it’s a phenomenon that’s been around for quite some time and is very well documented. You’re not crazy.
