Last night I decided to finish house of leaves and started to read around 11:30ish pm and finished around 3:20ish am. I read pages 353-528 in that time and finished the book. It is the best book I have and probably will ever read, give it try and if you don't understand it

@ReeeRaptor @rylic77 @konstructivizm Speed of lights not shit. The closest star is 4.2 light yrs away. How are you going to pack provisions for a 4 yr trip for a crew. Much less the fuel it would take to push that weight at light speed for that long? We are stuck here.

@rylic77 @konstructivizm Problem is we'd need some tech that can infinitely accelerate to the point it approaches very closely to the speed of light or somehow make something that surpasses light speed (or something similar to either) to make it worthwhile resource wise in our lifespans
