@sarasiobhan @GeorgeJulian @AliveLeder Do @InclusionNorth still support the Stop People Dying Young Group?
English

Latest from @GeorgeJulian about local @AliveLeder data around the deaths of autistic people without learning disabilities. Woeful. georgejulian.co.uk/2025/11/03/wha…

@Tone_Killick @BritishSpiders Thank you so much Tone. Very cool to get 🕷️ ID for our photos and to be able to learn a bit more about species. There were so many different species but only had phone camera to hand

@Reefpaths @BritishSpiders Hi, Andy, the first spider is Hasarius adansoni, Adanson's Jumping spider and a species that is very likely established in botanical gardens and hothouses in the UK. The second is Cyrba algerina, a species that specifically preys on web building spiders.
English

Not the best photos but lovely to see the diversity of #Salticidae 🕷️ Majorca @Tone_Killick @BritishSpiders

English

Nature always fascinates 💚 Have learned that this observation, Majorca is the larva of a glow worm #Lampyridae

English

@BritishSpiders @Tone_Killick Thank you for your support with our 🕷️ observations. Taking the time to share feedback provides encouragement particularly as we are thinking of leaving this platform
English

@Reefpaths @Tone_Killick I’m not sure why we didn’t respond to this in the summer (I’ve just found it in “bookmarks’) but the widely spaced median posterior eyes help ID this as a sac spider (Clubiona species) rather than Drassodes. Not possible to determine to species fromthis photo.
English

Beautiful 🕷️ with pinkish, velvety abdomen, olive coloured head & legs observed in silken cell neath driftwood, dunes at Druridge Bay today 🔎 Limited with only one photo but thinking Drassodes sp? @Tone_Killick

Nature always astounds and loved finding these miniature tiny urn shaped pots neath stones along coastline at Cala D’or, Majorca 🔎 We presume these are constructed by potter wasp species and hoping that @StevenFalk1 can advise 💚

@BritishSpiders Thank you so much for your🕷️advice and lovely to learn about Argiope trifasciata 💚 We were all mesmerised by the size of spiders and the length of their webs

English

@Reefpaths Sorry to disappoint but that’s not Argiope bruennichi (the species found in UK) but the related Argiope trifasciata (which doesn’t occur in Britain). Still a beautiful spider though!
Curiously, based on your photo, the egg cases are very different, too!
