Found this in a gas station in phoenix. As someone in a Kratom ban state this was wild to me. Regulation of this stuff is state specific. Many w no regulation at all. Does anyone know what’s ACTUALLY in this? We need a U.S. dept of “things you shouldn’t buy at a gas station”

@ohsnapimginger @wein_rachel @SCCM_CPP Rivastigmine PO can be a good alternative if the pt cooperative enough to take it orally! The patch can be a potential alternative too (although the onset is slower)if the pt has a very large OD where the anticholinergic effect might be prolonged.

Rivastigmine is a reasonable alternative to physostigmine for anticholinergic overdose. It has pharmacokinetic advantages like its long half life and slower CNS penetration. @wein_rachel reviews the use of rivastigmine in the prolonged physostigmine shortage #SCCM2023 @SCCM_CPP
