Okay, so. Given the recent news about someone doing some ... very creepy and messed up things to other people's Sonic OCs If you want to draw my OC, that's perfectly fine with me as long as you ask me or let me know you would like to. However, I do **not** consent to NSFW art.

Welp, time to talk about it lol For those unaware, there's been an artist posting NSFW of various OCs, mine included. From my understanding, these are commissioned art pieces? But I'm not entirely sure I've been aware of my OC being drawn by this artist for a while but left it alone since I'm pretty chill about people drawing Nicole the Cat in NSFW art However, I only just found out that this person drew ME (as in my irl self) in one of their NSFW pieces, and that shit isn't ok. That's creepy af It's also not OK to feature a bunch of other people's OCs, and I assume actual selves when they're clearly uncomfortable with it It's sadly no surprise that most of the people affected by this are female content creators. It's blatant misogyny at play here and again, no surprise People, mainly men, need to understand something. Just because a woman has a platform, it doesn't mean it's open season for NSFW art unless the creator voices their consent. Even then, it should NEVER be NSFW of their actual irl selves If you're a NSFW artist and someone commissions you with OCs not belonging to them, ask the actual owner of the OC if they're OK with it before you take payment I'm so sorry to all the other women affected by this, and hopefully, we can all find a way to mass report the page/artist To the person who commissioned this art, seek help, and learn how to respect women you claim to support

If you mindlessly attack those working on the IDW Sonic comics, you can't be surprised if they don't view you in high regard There's a big difference between constructive criticism/voicing your opinion on the comics and blatantly insulting the artists and writers who work on the comics You also have to keep in mind they need to get approval from SEGA before the comics are published. It's why the IDW comics have such a different tone to the Archie comics, because SEGA weren't nearly as involved with Archie until near the end of its run There are real people behind these comics and ones who actually know what SEGA want from their IP. You don't have to like the IDW comics but you can be respectful about it Basic manners, guys
