This is the part I struggle to understand. My family treats you like family, show you that you are loved and appreciated but I’m expected to tolerate every disrespect & struggle for basic courtesy from your people because I’m married to their son. The life of a woman is realy difficult.

A son-in-law doesn't have to try hard to please his wife's family. Even if he has a bad temper, he is still treated well. But a daughter-in-law, no matter how kind or hardworking she is, is often still seen as an outsider by her husband's family. make it make sense 💁‍♀️🤣

Today, we hosted HRM Oba (Dr.) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, at Lagos House, Ikeja, for his investiture as the 6th Chancellor of Lagos State University. His leadership and experience will add real value to the continued growth of Lagos State University. I wish him success in this new role.

My Girls; your life Is worth more than Killing yourself over illegal migration to Europe via the desert. It's not worth it at all. Think of the suffering of your parents and loved ones. No matter what anyone tell you, never follow them to Migrate abroad via the road route. ⚠️⚠️⚠️

Today, I was at the Fanti Carnival at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island and it was a lively showcase of culture, with each group bringing its own colours, choreography and strong sense of identity. It was especially meaningful to see historic communities like Campos, Lafiaji, Okoo-Faji, Okepopo, Olowogbowo, Epetedo, and Isale-Eko come together, making the day even more memorable. From the coordinated parades to the music, dance, and vibrant displays by our young people, as well as the energy of the crowd, it was a rich blend of culture and creativity. Today reflects an important part of our heritage that we must continue to preserve and celebrate. We remain committed to supporting cultural platforms that strengthen identity and bring our people together.

The Ojota–Opebi Link Bridge is designed to ease movement across one of Lagos’ busiest corridors. For years, areas like Ojota, Maryland, Opebi and Allen have struggled with heavy traffic, largely because there was no direct connection between them. Stretching about 5.04 km, this project combines elevated bridge sections with connecting roads to create a more direct route for commuters. It also includes space for pedestrians and cyclists. This project was first conceived during HE President Bola Tinubu’s time as governor and was later revived and completed by our administration. In many ways, it reflects long-term planning finally coming to life. The real impact will be felt in daily commuting. Shorter travel times, less congestion on roads like Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, and more predictable journeys for both individuals and businesses.

LASG officials went on a tour to inspect the progress of work on the Opebi-Mende-Ojota Link bridge and other arterial roads connecting it. The bridge was designed to address major traffic issues and provide alternative routes for motorists traveling from Toyin, Allen, Opebi to Ojota. Once finished, it will benefit those commuting from Maryland to Ikeja and surrounding areas. The team also visited other strategic ongoing projects such as the construction of Abiola-Onijemo link Road with bridge, Ikeja Urban Regeneration Project, Arowojobe Link Bridge and Approach Road at Maryland, and Agidi Demurin and Church Street Network in Kosofe Local Government Area. Despite the weather challenges, contractors are working diligently to meet project deadlines. The completion percentages of some projects are as follows: Arowojobe Link Bridge and Road at seventy-seven percent, St Finbarrs Road at seventy percent, Abiola-Onijemo Link Road with Bridge at eighty percent, Ikeja GRA regeneration project at eighty-nine percent, and Opebi-Mende Link Bridge and Roads at eighty-five percent. These projects reflect our commitment to delivering top-notch infrastructure and driving economic growth for the benefit of all residents.

My mum’s friends daughter got married to a real time abuser🥹🥹 Whenever he beats her, she’d run back home but her parents will send her back. The last time he beat her, the father of the lady said he won’t let her go back unless he comes with his family members to beg and not touch her again. He came with his family and the wife followed them back. Now he has beaten her to death with 5mths pregnancy 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 The only girl of her family, mehnnnnn💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

Side chicks get the best version of a man because when he’s with her he’s carefree. There’s no bills. There’s no kids. There’s no work. No responsibility. The company of a side is to escape the reality of actual life. It’s easy to treat a man well when all he expects from you is sex. Throw a home cooked meal in every now and then and he’s going to feel like a king. Even if his wife is home doing the same thing, her presence still comes with the stress of his responsibilities.
Sonia@BalogunSonia4

Why do side chicks know how to treat a man better than their actual wives do? I really want to know. 🤔

Focusing on the first E in our THEMES+ agenda, which is Education and Technology, the Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle sits on nearly 12 hectares and serves about 20,000 students across 36 schools, both primary and secondary. Before the upgrade, many of the buildings were in poor condition. Today, the entire complex has been rebuilt and expanded, marking its most significant transformation since it was established over 40 years ago. New classroom blocks have been added to reduce overcrowding. The facilities now include a football pitch, sports courts, a health centre, a fire station, and essential services like solar power and improved water systems. There is also a clear focus on inclusion. Dedicated buildings for students with disabilities have been introduced, along with lifts to make movement easier within the complex. A vocational centre is now in place, offering training in practical skills such as tailoring, plumbing, and masonry. With an ICT hub and a central laboratory, students are better positioned to engage with science and technology in a more hands-on way. Overall, the project creates a more supportive and functional learning environment for a densely populated community.
