This breaks my heart, but I must admit that many things have changed in the world of teaching, and we're losing great teachers as a result. 🙁

Another teacher friend just decided to make this year his last (12 years early). I asked him why, he said • Class sizes are ridiculous • Zero accountability for parents, students 🙁 • Too much testing 😤 • Admin was overwhelmed & not helpful 😨 • Frozen salary, low pay

@teacher2teacher I'm an AP. When I do CWTs I ask Ss what they're learning. When they tell me what they're "doing" I ask again. If they are unable to give me a response related to the learning obj., I suggest that they drop a note to the teacher saying that they could not answer Ms. P.'s question.
