गुजरात के भाजपा अध्यक्ष ने कांग्रेस की हमारी महिला सांसद गेनीबेन ठाकोर जी पर अभद्र टिप्पणी की है। “नारी वंदन” का मुखौटा उतर गया। यह सिर्फ़ शर्मनाक नहीं - यह BJP की मनुवादी, महिला-विरोधी विचारधारा का असली चेहरा है। ये है BJP का “नारी वंदन”? ये करेंगे महिलाओं का सशक्तिकरण? ये देंगे अधिकार? सत्ता को चुनौती देने वाली महिलाएं इन्हें बर्दाश्त नहीं - एक ही पल में इनकी विकृत मानसिकता सामने आ जाती है। और प्रधानमंत्री तो, कांग्रेस की महिला सांसदों के सवालों से घबराकर, संसद छोड़कर पहले ही भाग चुके हैं। मोदी जी ख़ुद कहते हैं, “नारी सब भूल जाती है, लेकिन अपना अपमान कभी नहीं भूलती।” - मगर BJP खुद ये भूल गई। महिला-विरोधी BJP ये याद रखे - गुजरात के साथ पूरे हिंदुस्तान की महिलाएं हर अपमान का मुंहतोड़ जवाब देंगी।

He will be unaware of previous such displays in Ladakh. On Jan 14 1949, the sacred relics of the two chief disciples of the Buddha - Sariputta and Maha Moggallana Arahants - taken by the British from the Sanchi Stupa in 1851 and kept in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London were received back by Jawaharlal Nehru and handed over to the Mahabodhi Society of India in Kolkata on Jan 14, 1949. A few months later in early July 1949 - just after the passage of the Bodh Gaya Temple Act, 1949 by the Bihar Govt - Nehru visited Ladakh for four days. During this visit, the venerable Kushok Bakula Rinpoche requested Nehru that these relics should be sent to Ladakh as well. A year later in May 1950 this materialised, and the relics were taken around Ladakh for 79 days. Thereafter they were to be enshrined in three different places—Yangon, Colombo, and Sanchi itself.
