Earlier I spoke to BBC News over the shocking news that 4.7 million people are on waiting lists. Nearly 400,00 waiting over a year. In pain. Worried. Anxious. Not working. We are - 10,000 drs short - 40,000 nurses short - 3,000 beds short We have seen huge cuts in last 10 yrs

@CraigNikolic I would add to that - a complete over reaction from commissioners if data returns are below expectation. Rather than understand why they go into complete emergency mode and in many instances I guess revert to 1

This is just awful. We live in a country where the govt allows employers to sack you and then rehire you on dreadful terms and conditions in a new contract. It should be illegal but I somehow think this govt won’t be doing anything about that. theguardian.com/business/2021/…

The fascinating thing I took from this is that the COVID pandemic has actually saved lives in Australia overall. Crazy. More Australians are alive today than would normally have been because of the measures they put in place.
