With Codex the there is quite the gulf in load between peak and off-peak times, and we would like to achieve more of a smoother traffic pattern as that would be a more optimal use of our compute. We have ideas, but curious what you all think we should do? Would more usage during off-peak and surge multiplier during peak times make sense?

@PaulSolt No good for me yet. Need some type of great UI skill for IOS. Think the biggest issue is Codex listens to you so is literal whereas Claude makes its own assumptions.

@markbutcher72 Bigger issue is India hosting so many ICC tournaments and dictating the pitch conditions. Seem to remember when hosted in England we had no say (ICC Champs trophy final being a turner for example). Power and money.

@thsottiaux I reported this issue, seemed fixed so thanks. But on deeper investigation it is not. Codex is still ripping through usage. On the plus plan.

We caught an issue that was causing the 2X promotional increase in limits to not be applied to an estimated 9% of plus and pro users for Codex. We have now fixed this issue and are reseting the rate limit for all plus and pro users to compensate. Apologies and thank you for the bug reports over the last couple of days.

@embirico Is there a bug with Codex usage for plus users? My quota is burning through so fast vs last week. Have used a lot less but after resetting only have 20% usage left. Using codex Mac app.

@embirico seems the latest version of codex has a bug, if Mac restarts, upon reboot the last thread is stuck “thinking”…impossible to stop it or resume also. Just me or others have this issue?
