Today students had the opportunity to see something really special at the SPARK Expo, the first event of its kind! When students can see it, try it, & talk to the people doing the work, it helps them begin to imagine what their own future could look like.

Robotics competition at the FiT West & Panhandle Regional Championship! Schools competed in the First Tech Challenge in Lubbock. Students from Christoval ISD, Veribest ISD, & San Angelo Christian Academy put their skills to the test w/ programming, design, & teamwork.

Congrats to our Rise & Teach Scholarship recipients! Mazzy Smiley, Panther Creek CISD, plans to attend Texas Tech University & pursue her dream of becoming an elementary teacher. Kaelyn Crain, Christoval HS, plans to attend ASU & also pursue a career as an elementary teacher.

We hit pause on the busy today for a little Valentine fun with our Name That Love Tune game! Calls were flying, guesses were coming in, & the laughter across the ESC was everything! Congratulations to our Valentine winners today: Mercedez Rassi, Nora Rojas, & Christy Alvarado!

Today our specialist, Mary Castanuela had the privilege to train students from South Korea on second language acquisition. They will be here at ASU in a couple of weeks & will be working with teachers in some of our local school districts as part of their teacher training.

Our Region 15 ESC Specialists (Shakeah Hoffman & Luke Welch)were proud to partner with Brownwood ISD (Rebecca Faulkner) to present “Bridging Bluebonnet for ALL Learners” at TCASE Great Ideas 2026.

February is CTE Month! ESC 15 celebrates the hard work and dedication of all ESC 15 CTE Educators! CTE is more than a program of study, it is a pathway to postsecondary opportunities that lead students to success after graduation!

We’re not just preparing students for graduation, we’re preparing them to lead the next generation. Students from our districts gathered at Angelo State for Rise & Teach! This year we added a coaching strand, HUGE success! Congrats scholarship winners & thanks to all partners!
