🚨 Breaking: reportedly, Jonathan Wheatley is set to replace Adrian Newey as TP at Aston Martin.
Adrian Newey will step aside from his interim Team Principal duties to refocus entirely on the car’s technical development.
Wheatley joins from Audi, having been personally recommended by Newey. The two previously worked closely together during their successful stint at Red Bull.

@NtilikinaMuse @acdmma_ Fair enough but we know that the top UFC fighters are paid peanuts compared to their boxing counterparts, even without Saudi involvement.
English

@ReheAryan @acdmma_ You have to understand where the money is coming from. A Saudi prince is subsidizing Zuffa boxing it's house money the UFC and Zuffa isn't paying Benn, it's Turki that is.
English

🚨 Michael Bisping comes to the defense of UFC fighter pay and uses Alex Pereira as an example:
“I imagine he earned something around 3 million and 4 million dollars per fight. With this new contract, which will probably lock him up for the rest of his combat sports life. It’s probably gonna be around 5-6 million dollars, who knows.”
“Alex Pereira is NOT complaining, he is happy. I know that many people are talking **** about the UFC recently, but the champions are not b*tching, they’re not complaining. And I wasn’t back in my day.”

@mmaonpoint Can’t expect Bisping to say anything else on this issue. He is still on UFC payroll so he won’t say anything against them.

@formularacers_ @Auto_Racer_it Adrian Newey’s Team Principal stint only lasted for 2 races!?

English

🚨 | BREAKING: Adrian Newey is working to get Audi team principal Jonathan Wheatley to join Aston Martin.
Newey is reportedly in advanced talks to convince Wheatley to become Aston Martin's new team principal.

@SkySportsF1 For the first time in long, Ferrari is in the right. Teams should have worked on ther starts which they clearly didn’t and now they want to change start procedure to accommodate everyone.

@StokeyyG2 @WeAreTheOverlap Take the mic away from this guy. 2010 World Cup was an amazing tournament with iconic songs, celebrations and the ball.

🚨😳 John Fury says that his relationship with his son Tyson Fury is “DESTROYED” and says he doesn’t need him anymore:
▫️ “My relationship with Tyson is destroyed… boxing destroyed it completely.” - John Fury says they’re completely estranged
▫️ Claims he’s never taken a penny: “I’ve never taken £10 off him. I don’t want Tyson’s money”
▫️ Still takes credit: “Don’t forget who built his story. Me, his father.”
▫️ Gets emotional mid-interview: “I was 30 seconds away from asking for a break. I haven’t really expressed these emotions before”
▫️ BRUTAL take on Tyson’s career: “I think he’s past his best… people are building him up like he’s invincible. He’s not and hasn’t been for a while.”
▫️ Says the Deontay Wilder trilogy “finished him” — “He’s not got a leg underneath him”
▫️ Warns Arslanbek Makhmudov is a real threat: “His legs aren’t there anymore. Makhmudov is a problem for Tyson. I’ll be the first one to say it.”
▫️ Regrets Oleksandr Usyk fight: “I begged him not to take it, he was worn out. His Excellency was going to give us a $13 million dollar fine for pulling out, I said ‘take it’”
▫️ Slams Tyson’s team, especially Sugar Hill Steward: “He’s no Emanuel Steward, just a gym sweeper living off his Grandpa’s name.”
▫️ Makes chilling claim: “With them in his corner… he could end up dead or with brain damage”
▫️ Despite saying “I don’t need him,” it’s clear the fallout is deeply emotional and unresolved
▫️ “If you can’t show your father respect when it matters, fine. I don’t need you.”

Wayne Rooney stating there will be never be a worse World Cup than South Africa in 2010 when speaking about the upcoming World Cup…
[@WeAreTheOverlap]
English

@piersmorgan Come on guys, don’t fall for it. They are looking to recreate this and promote the fight.
English

@Daily_MailUS Wouldn’t surprise me if this is a promotional move to promote his upcoming fight. Tyson is in the twilight of his career so he needs to promote the hell out of every fight.

@TouchlineX @WeAreTheOverlap WHAT IS HE ON? Everything about that competition was sensational, the songs, the ball, the celebrations and the first time winners Spain. Probably the best overall FIFA World Cup of this century.
English

🚨🗣️ 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Wayne Rooney: "You are not getting a WORSE World Cup than South Africa in 2010. That tournament NEVER felt like a World Cup."

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: — @WeAreTheOverlap are discussing Premier League players better than Neymar.
🚨🗣️ Roy Keane: "Rooney is better, Ronaldo is better, Henry is better."
🚨🗣️ Neville: "Mo Salah."
🚨🗣️ Ian Wright: "Mo Salah is not better than Neymar."
🚨🗣️ Rooney: "I have never seen Neymar as a top player."

@indykaila @SpursOfficial @NFFC It looks like the next defeat for Spurs could be the end of Igor Tudor. I am not surprised, it was a baffling appointment to say the least.

Igor Tudor will be called to a meeting if @SpursOfficial lose to @NFFC at the weekend.
He is expected to be sacked.

@TouchlineX @FabrizioRomano Man Utd cannot let him go to City. Looks like we will be in the UCL and if Pep leaves, I think we are a better option for him over City.
English

@TouchlineX Appointing Maresca makes perfect sense for Man City, and it doubles as a sharp slap in the face to Chelsea’s board, who, true to form, couldn’t make it work with yet another coach. Looks like Chelsea gave Maresca the experience he needs to succeed at Etihad.
English

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: If Pep Guardiola decides to leave Manchester City, the name identified by the club to become their next manager at some point is Enzo Maresca.
Those close to Maresca are already aware of the situation and the interest from Manchester City. Pep will first have to make a final decision.
