@Brendzun you are not expected to skip cutscenes for others. if it makes you feel better, you can choose to play with npcs instead if you feel rushed

@Brendzun noo this really only happens on the early dungeons (boss being killed while youre in cutscene)... because powercreep + long cutscene. Most ppl have courtsey to wait for 1st timers but sometimes ppl may accidentally pull forgetting to wait or just want to speedrun.

Joined The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak dungeon for the first time and someone just killed the boss while I was in the cutscene. Should I be skipping cutscenes with other players in FFXIV? Did I fuck up? I don't wanna leech parties.

@Zenkaiy0 @Gumidess steam has the lower/cheaper option too (the one with 8 char limit) and is the one i personally pay for via steam

@Gumidess Steam subscription is 4$ more expensive at 14.99$. The main website has 2 tiers of subscriptions. One allowing 8 chars, the other 40. The 8 char one is 10.99$

Not my fault that Steam allows me to pay my sub through steam which is MUCH better than through the SE store. And also that back in 2019 i could buy the whole thing for the equivalent of 5 dollars on my country's currency so there was no question which was better.

@Ada2987_art i will just add that bosses (aswell as elite bosses tbh) can be challenging and it, to me at least, feels satisfying when you play properly but as a bad casual player, most of the time you can just overpower the bosses by having a strong character instead of playing good

@jackunheard I don’t get the appeal of going to other countries. We have 50 incredibly beautiful states to travel to. Most people that travel have been to a handful of states or maybe only a couple which is such a shame imo.

NEW: A 20-year-old woman went blind after wearing contact lenses in the shower during a trip to the Dominican Republic. Grace Jamison was exposed to tap water containing a microscopic parasite which got trapped under her lenses and embedded into her corneas, causing a severe infection. She was initially misdiagnosed and given steroid drops that made it worse. Within one week, she lost all vision in both eyes. After the correct diagnosis, she began intensive anti-parasitic treatment with eye drops every 30-60 minutes. The treatment is expected to last 6 months to a year. She has now regained partial vision in her left eye only. Never expose contact lenses to any water. This is brutal.

@astrienluna there's mirapri but it's japanese and idk how easy it is to upload there but it is basically EC but japanese lol. I think you dont need to know japanese if you just wanna showcase glams though

@sweetcrememochi is there any alternatives to EC? I love using it for rough inspo and I have a lot of glams I'd love to post but I simply can't find anywhere to post it and EC is so weird with the rules I avoid it mostly now lol
