Over the weekend, @reinabdot retired from event work to focus on her family and career. For those unaware, Reina has been an integral part of FGC events for over a decade; working brackets, reg, command centers, and show planning with CB, Evo, Frosty, DTN, Big E, and more. 1/2

I know a lot of people want an unban but honestly, these TOs didn’t make me and they certainly can’t break me. I am my own brand! It is not my goal to attack the TOs because I know running these events do take a lot but I must be transparent in showing you all the steps I took in an effort to avoid what ended up happening with the lies that have circulated. @TheHadou @TongNeverSleeps & @Jebailey all had knee jerk reactions to these accusations early on. Them being the Tournament Organizers for major offline events that I have attended regularly during my career in the FGC, I feel they aided in the attempts to damage my name and reputation. I reached out to all three of these TOs and presented my side of the events and proof that I thought would shed light on the fact that these allegations were false. Tong - I talked with him twice. At the beginning of this situation when I was not allowed to register for TNS Weekly #2, I reached out to him. He shared his own experience with me of being accused of SA back in the day. Luckily for him social media wasn’t a big deal so things didn’t get as bad as they could have. When I asked what his position on me participating in TNS tournaments, he stated he was going to follow whatever Rick was doing because that’s his boss. The second conversation with Tong, which I’ve already discussed came about because I was removed from F2Con and Rewind days prior to both events. When I spoke with him over the phone after him notifying me in the DM I was being removed from these events, I made it a point to reiterate all the steps I had taken to clear my name, I made him aware I had not incited or condoned any online harassment, bullying, etc. and I emphasized how I stayed quiet while others continued to lie and drag my name through the mud. After he snickered and laughed, he told me he didn’t have an issue with me attending until he received an email from Monie. He also said he’s still just going to continue following Rick’s lead and that he didn’t want to risk his events or his brand. He admitted that he didn’t really know anything or anyone involved. He said that he felt sorry for me. These messages say differently. Rick- 2/2/24 & 2/8/24…I reached out to Rick after talking to Tong the first time. I had 2 Google Meetings with Rick and several back & forth email correspondences. He told me he’s not the police or law enforcement and he didnt have an answer as to what he was going to do at that time. He advised in situations like these, there’s usually a formal investigation and a committee meeting is held. He stated although he is usually the one to deliver the decision, it’s not always necessarily HIS decision. He said if it were him, he would ban all parties involved until an investigation is completed. I was asked to not share any screenshots of conversations. I repeatedly had to reach out to him for updates. Oftentimes, there was no response or I was offered a callback with no follow through. I’m still waiting on him to return from his daughter’s soccer practice to call me back. I found out I was banned from ComboBreaker via Twitter from a screenshot of a conversation. I found out I was banned from EVO via a ButtonCheck video and Twitter via a screenshot of a conversation. I checked my email regularly. Emails of my bans came after the fact with no explanation for the bans and I received no response when I tried to dispute. He did not go by what he said. He had meetings with @monietoosweet who freely shared their private conversations with her group chat and Twitter. She ran brackets at both ComboBreaker & EVO. Very interesting.
