Tweets are mostly from people reacting to news. I think it would make sense to have a News feed of just articles from publications you follow. Routine: 1/ go to News feed & scroll it first 2/ head to “your” feed of people you follow for reaction & interact post reading news

2/2 Leaders mostly want power for themselves more than anything. Even previously unthinkable reactions. Unfortunately, this retaliatory cycle of reprisal and counter-reprisal underwrites no long term peace.

1/2 The depressing forever conflict conundrum: Leaders derive power from populace. Desire for retaliation after conflict/attack is often fueled by the population’s call for justice/deterrence. Leader must act to stay in power or face removal.

When an act of violence is committed in the name of a right wing cause, the right is blamed for inspiring it & is called to reform. When an act of violence is done in name of a religion, the same people say that person was mentally ill & not representative of that religion.
