Unisex bathrooms don’t benefit women and girls, for several reasons: 1. Males piss everywhere. While women might leave drips on the seat, males will leave an entire stream of piss all the way down the front of the bowl, where it pools on the floor. I don’t want to lower my pants and underpants into some man’s piss puddle, thanks. 2. Voyeur porn. The vast majority of creators of voyeur porn are male and the vast majority (over 90%) are women and teenage girls. Voyeur porn is a very popular category on porn sites. Making all restrooms unisex will only make it easier for males to place hidden cameras. 3. Adolescent boys often tease and harass their female classmates over things like periods. A middle school girl needs to be comfortable enough to use the toilet in school, and that means knowing that the boys who tease her won’t be lurking outside her bathroom stall, listening for the sounds of pad wrappers, etc. In fact, there was a case out of the UK several years ago. A middle school had converted all of their bathrooms to unisex, as in large rooms with sinks containing multiple stalls with floor to ceiling doors. A young girl received a head injury after some boys decided to kick the door of her stall in. According to the girl, the boys in her school found it fun to harass the girls by donkey-kicking the doors in, breaking the locks in the process. Apparently most of the stalls had broken locks. 4. Males do nasty shit in bathrooms. Should a ten year old girl be forced to enter a stall that a man has literally just jacked off in?
