Update on the @PlayKintara marketplace (kintrade . xyz) ⏳ I took the site down. It was really fun building and running it while it lasted! 🫶 Unfortunately, when I added a small donations notice to help cover server + backend costs (so I wouldn’t have to keep funding it alone), is when the hate started rolling in. All I got was “constructive feedback,” complaints, and a few pats on the back for building Kintrade. I don’t mind building cool tools for the community for free. I do mind doing it for people who don’t appreciate the effort… especially when it starts costing me money every month. That said… I’m still open to bringing the marketplace back if the Kintara fam steps up and helps cover the hosting costs. Even small donations from a few people would make a big difference and show real support. ( i am not poor, im just not going to fund something people aren’t thankful for).
