Zubair Baloch, son of Ghulam Fareed, a former chairman of the Baloch Students Council Bahawalpur and an MPhil graduate of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, was forcibly disappeared last night at approximately 1:30 AM by security forces, and alongside Plainclothes Intelligence Personnel from his hometown in Bhutta Colony, Dera Ghazi Khan. This incident is part of a continuing pattern of targeting students and educated youth. HRCB has recorded at least 353 cases of students subjected to enforced disappearances between January 2025 and February 2026, marking a deeply alarming escalation.
