Registered inventories have held in the low 80 million ounce range while open interest bottomed in the mid 90,000 contract area. Just had 4.5 million ounces delivered into the registered category. 5.2% increase. Watching for a change in structure and positioning to provide hints of a change in complexion in the market. Borrowing fees to short ETF shares are beginning to rise and option volatility skew just came off extreme bearish activity. After the lastest price destruction, could the smoke be beginning to clear in the morning dawn.
