Title and Thumbnail Work Together. The Thumbnail calls the click, the title closes the click. This is not exactly a rule but a strategy, not repeating the same information in both. Using the Thumbnail to show something visually strong, and the title to create context or mystery. As I said, it’s not a rule, some people could use the title “LeBron crashed his car” and that might work, but I believe that a thumbnail showing something curious and a title saying there are 11 other things you haven’t seen yet will create curiosity and, consequently, clicks...
