@RelsForJustice RFJ should be aware that Gardai emailed Ludlow family lawyer on 23 December at 4.40 pm, stating that Dublin's DPP has ruled no prosecutions in case of Seamus Ludlow. Bad news buried in Christmas holidays, showing nothing has changed in 50 years.

Maidin Mhaith this snowy morning. There is a term pathetic fallacy where our emotions , our inner feelings reflect nature, the weather etc. so we thought in keeping with the morning that’s in it, we would share these words . If your heart is heavy and your mind is busy, here’s a little reminder. To winter, to rest and watch the snowflakes dance. A reflection of life’s subtle changes and movements. A knowing and a hope that things will fall in to place in ways we didn’t expect. And if your heart is full with joy and gratitude let it soften into the moment just the same, lightly, the way snow rests on an open palm. Have a good weekend, and keep being gentle and kind a even if the world doesn’t always return it. 💚

On this New Year’s Day we reach out to those feeling overwhelmed x When healing seems impossible to imagine and the emotions we hold , are too heavy to carry. Our hearts hold what our arms cannot embrace, and what our eyes can no longer see. It is in those spaces of our shattered hearts that we feel the most beautiful poetry, not poetry that can be written down, but words of hope, a sanctuary of moments and memories, of love, and of how with love comes pain. On our journey, we meet ourselves with patience, comfort, and acknowledgement, without expectation, no need to hurry or rush. There is an honouring of the pain and the terrible loss through gentle acceptance and presence. And when the time feels right, we carry love forward on a new path, a love that only we can understand. A love that holds both the pain of missing them and the privilege of having loved them completely, and the courage to live fully as they would want us to live

Today is the 35th anniversary of the killing of Fergal Caraher in South Armagh. He will be remembered by his family and community with a charity run at 12pm and at a memorial evening where the RFJ Remembering Quilt will be on display. Peter John and Mary Caraher were among the founders of RFJ the following year. We will be remembering their extraordinary contribution as we send our love to the Caraher family today.

Doubling down on “national security” cannot and will not deliver to bereaved families from any community, affected by any actor. A full rethink is required by the British Government on their approach to this issue and Legacy

Yet again the clear message from this ruling is that the government will do everything within its power to cover those handling and running agents even in circumstances involving murder. This does not bode well for any new legacy arrangements," @RTENews rte.ie/news/courts/20…

The local courts deliver to local victims and survivors but in London the resistance to basic information in favour of British state vested interests is absolute. There are significant implications following today’s judgment in the British Supreme Court, however Families’ resolve remains absolute #NeverGivingUp
