Our daughter is in the same boat. Masters in Cybersecurity and Forensics, graduated summa cum laude. 1697 applications and counting, 2 interviews, where political instead of competence questions were asked, including questioning her voting record. The rest, radio silence or rejections. There’s been a few positions at police and sheriff’s departments, where she’ll receive a rejection letter claiming they hired someone else and a week later the job is posted again. Tech companies don’t even bother to respond. The H1B deluge has ruined opportunities for US citizens in favor of cheap labor. Something’s got to give.

She’s gotten 12 interviews.
Three rejection emails.
The rest? Silence.
“Entry-level” jobs require 3-5 years of experience.“Competitive salary” means $35k in a city where rent is $1,800.
She’s living with her parents and working at Starbucks.
Her degree cost $80,000.
The system isn’t broken. It’s working exactly as designed.

A youtuber clown looking for clicks does not grab me. I suffered through that video where this guy doesn't even mention de-escalation tactics, walking behind and front of the vehicle, leaving the scene with the weapon, etc. DOESNT EVEN MENTION IT. You could find a few so called geography majors who also believe the earth is flat. Im gonna stay away from YouTuber click bait videos, and holocaust deniers. Very credible stuff. I" ll stick to the overwhelming majority of current and former law enforcement who are not bigot and racist jew haters, and those looking for clickbait on youtube. That grabs me.
