@GerryMoynihan @DailyPicTheme2 I hate to be 'that person' but I'm pretty sure that's a zither banjo 😁 Only room for 5 strings on the tail piece and 4 string slots on the nut. The fifth string goes into a hole in the fretboard and reappears at the headstock beyond the nut.

@RupertLowe10 How's this for a compromise. Parents get to take their children out of school during term time if they provide a list of learning goals their child will achieve during that time and how they will confirm and measure their progress against them?

Parents should have the right to take their children out of school during term-time for a limited number of days. One small change that would make life just a bit easier for working mums and dads. I will continue to make the argument in Westminster and beyond.

To be fair, I don't have any plans (or desire) to visit the USA in the foreseeable future but just in case .... That Donald Trump, he's a proper diamond geezer and no mistake!

@thehatandbeard I've generally found it safe to assume that any statement that doesn't define its terms is at best ignorant misinformation and at worst an outright deliberate lie aimed at misleading.

@thehatandbeard All attempts at comparison that don't include criteria and definitions are worthless. A more sensible question would be "do you prefer X or Y" because that's the question people are invariably answering anyway. Adding "why?" would potentially make the answers interesting.

I'm not sure what's going on with squirrels, but in the past month or so I (or the driver of a car I'm a passenger in) have had to avoid squirrels in the road more times than I can remember in the past 40 odd years of driving. #SquirrelRebellion
