After a year, we finally have the results. Let’s see whether the sentiment was right or not:
1. The cycle top is in ❌
2. The four-year cycle no longer exists ❌
3. This is a traders’ market, only they make money. Being a holder no longer makes sense ✅
4. ETH won’t reach a new ATH in 2025 ❌
5. A Trump presidency and crypto reforms are already priced in ❌
6. NFTs still haven’t found their bottom ❌
7. A broad alt season is a thing of the past, only niche sectors will see small pumps lasting a couple of weeks at most ✅
8. The AI meta is officially dead ❌
9. Ordinals are completely dead ✅
10. Bitcoin is going to outperform every other crypto ❌
11. This time is different❌
Out of 11 predictions, only 3 actually played out.
Going against the prevailing sentiment almost always pays off.
Of the correct predictions, two were about a structural shift in the market.
This cycle has been dominated by short-lived, niche profit opportunities, and at this point, aside from perhaps BTC and ETH, it’s very likely that this environment will persist for the next few years.
