@wolfintank Good choice! My personal favorite. Her LR, LLLR LLLLR combos apply curse marks on enemies that you can explode with F/R2. No “boss when you fight them vs boss when you unlock them” here, she’s a powerhouse through and through. The Lu Bu of Remnant Blade, the wheelchair unit.

@FENTLLC Woah thanks for sharing this. So I had a dualsense plugin to test adaptive triggers. This particular character in this level played really weird specifically on a ps5 controller. Disabling the plugin fixed it. I appreciate the valuable feedback and playtesting.
@RemnantBlade Third thing what is even the point of this room why is this here also the character bugged. You shouldn't label this build as a demo because it no where near the final product of the game. It a playtest.
@FENTLLC Sometimes these things don’t show up for the person making the game, taking individual playstyle in mind. I’ll take the hit with bad reviews if it gives me perception on where things could go wrong. When I was on itch I never got any feedback. Bad visibility is better than none.
@RemnantBlade A lot of these core issues and bugs you can figure out if you test the game out yourself and refined the combat until it feels really good to play. I'm speaking as a player not a developer in this thread.

Esme is going to be unstable compared to the others. I was planning on putting a popup specifically for her about that.

@RemnantBlade Ok I'm going to give you some serious feedback. It going to be harsh but this is the only way you will make the game better. This game is not good at if the demo was to have it own steam page it would be mostly negative core problem is very janky broken combat with a ton of bugs
Ebony and Ivory who? Esme the gunslinger is ready to juggle enemies endlessly in the Steam demo. Just like her hot headed temper, her combat kit will be slightly unstable, so handle our tsundere gunner with care.

@imhereforsoups Deadline is April 27th but I’ll try my best to get it out before then. Just a few small kinks I need to tackle, won’t be a perfect build but I’ll patch / update it over time! There will also be a way to give feedback via a simulated phone app ingame!
Elaine is combat ready for the demo! Parries build heat on the shield. She can transfer the heat to her sword for a devastating attack. Attack & parry give mystic stack used for active skills that give energy for her ult.

@ShaolinKitsune Thanks for the constructive feedback! The boss will have more moves/reacts in the demo and early access. Units have a flux stat that increases unique effect potency; for Nyx it's her time slow at max flux. There are a few other combos and ways to play based on combat preference.
@RemnantBlade Boss looks like a boring health sponge, barely moves, due to how long the slow time from perfect dodge works and the assets look like they were stole from Vindictus. The animations are repeatitive and have no variance just spin spin spin. Sometimes Green, purple or yellow.
