How regular is regular? Annually?Who are these accredited trainers? Will the training be delivered and an assessment carried out on the information provided at the training before a certificate is issued to participants to ensure understanding? Who inspects and regulates this?

Domestic violence is a cancer in our society. It is right that there is no place in policing for any officer who engages in domestic abuse or any other sort or crime.

It should be mandatory to keep a record of such serious incidents, it should not be left to best practice. These records should be monitored and regulated by an outside authority such as the dept of education or education authority to ensure swift action if misuse is suspected.
