@Twilight_Husky_ I don’t really see your point here. Artists charge a variety of prices for their work. If you feel like art is expensive then you can look elsewhere because a lot of artists will undercharge themselves to make art more accessible. You’re only trying to justify AI

You know what I realized just now? Furry art is identical to the diamond market. AI art is like lab diamonds. Cheap, easily attained, and made for the mass market. Real art is like natural diamonds. Expensive, possibly not worth the money, and marketed to the elite. But at the end of the day, both are the same thing. Just an image on a screen. I love furry art. I love the artists that make it. But someone has to state the obvious, and that is that this fandom needs to remain accessible to ALL, no matter their financial status. We don't need exclusivity and unnatainability. This fandom should be better than that.

@Twilight_Husky_ Insulting you or name calling is silly but even as someone who isn’t terribly experienced I still charge a pretty decent price (this was for a friend so I also gave them a discount). Many artists will put 15+ hours into their designs and art so you’re paying for quality

@Twilight_Husky_ Hey so I don’t really see a point in being mean about it but there’s a reason why we charge so much I’m more of a beginner so personally I mostly work under minimum wage but the cost for this design was still ~$50. Art isn’t my main income so I can take a loss

Commission prices are out of control. Simple as. 300 bucks for a ref sheet or basic drawing?? Hell no. That's 10 HOURS of my life I would have had to spend to be able to afford that. Actually, it's definitely more than that because the government taxes wages.
