Mrs. Walker's second graders came to Makerspace this morning to make their very own individualized bookmarks out of recycled books! ❤️their creativity! @aisdlibsrv @remynsees

This morning was awesome! I had some 5th graders come in and buddy read with a pre-k class ❤️ The 5th graders did an amazing job and the littles loved being read to! @remynsees @aisdlibsrv

Tried out a new book display...I think it was a hit! I covered the books and typed out the first line from each one on the front. One 6th grade class came and went directly to it! It was pretty cool to hear them getting excited over just the first line! ❤️@aisdlibsrv @remynsees

Best Monday Ever!!Lil' Texans are going to love the audiobooks that this grant enables us to purchase! Pairing a book in print with an audio version, can help all readers but especially those struggling readers!The students are so excited! @remynsees @aisdlibsrv @AISD_Foundation

Today was the 99th day of school so in Makerspace Monday Lil' Texans experimented with building using 99 units of various materials! They did a great job! @remynsees @aisdlibsrv

Our Lil' Texans worked together in their library stations to build! Two houses worked really hard on this the past two weeks and today our 5th graders were able to complete the build! @remynsees @aisdlibsrv

Yesterday was our 5th annual school wide Day of Code at Remynse! I got so wrapped up with the 3rd graders that I didn't get many pictures but I know our Lil' Texans had so much fun learning more about coding! @remynsees @aisdlibsrv
