🇦🇺Australian police stopped a man because his car had 'anti-Semitic' material on the window. When the driver queried what the anti-Semitic material was, The officer replied 'the small watermelon'🍉.😂

They genuinely believe they won the Cold War because their ideas were better. Not because they outspent the Soviet Union militarily until the Soviet economy broke. Not because they were willing to proxy-war across four continents and leave millions dead in the process. Not because they propped up any dictatorship, no matter how brutal, as long as it was anti-communist. Their ideas. Their values. The inherent appeal of the American way of life. This is what they tell themselves. And from inside the bubble, it makes perfect sense. From outside the bubble, you see a country that spent nearly half a century destroying any alternative that emerged, not because the alternative was failing, but because it might succeed, and success would disprove the story. You don't need to suppress bad ideas. You only need to suppress the ones that might work.

On Easter Sunday leaving a restaurant we saw a homeless man in the pouring rain searching the garbage can across the street. I brought him our takeaway containers and some money. He immediately ate the food in the rain. He was starving. This is Ontario. It makes me so angry. 🤬

48 hours in a homeless persons life. No door that locks, no food security, no safety, and sleeping outside in the elements... You wouldn’t call them “lazy” again, you’d be begging for the same help you vote against!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 They want to be us so bad. That tree is older than your filthy parasitic “state,” which incidentally has uprooted over 1.5 million olive trees since 1967 alone. rootless genocidal colonizers cosplaying indigeneity of Palestinians.

These stories are 7 years apart. It not only illustrates Marx’s theory of capital as a “vampire” (literally), but also how it progressively erodes working-class life: “Accumulation of wealth at one pole is…at the same time accumulation of misery…at the opposite pole.”

I made it as far as I could, 5 days in and down to 60$ for the entire month, after GST cheque. I've paid my overpriced rent, my overpriced rogers WIFI share of bill, pay 10$ to be heard on this app run by a fascist, got my healthier food after my colonoscopy and that's it, bankrupt. Three weeks with 65.98$, could you survive? That's my toilet paper. That's my travel anywhere for appointments. It is abysmal on purpose, #DougFord and his rich cats need caviar infusions and 3 story cottages. If you can help me get by this month, please donate: etransfer: mitchelltremblay@live.ca I work very hard every single day to advocate and end this cycle that put me homeless 7 times, 14 times in hospitals and now begging for scraps online. Thanks to all who give or share, I appreciate it. #ODSP #ontario

Her advice when someone calls you a racist Zionist? Don’t get defensive. 𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭. “𝘋𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘺, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘢 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘨𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦, 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘐’𝘮 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘵. Then she loaded the rhetorical ammunition: “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘑𝘦𝘸𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘪𝘨𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘬𝘦𝘺𝘴. The question that ends the exchange: “𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘢 𝘡𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵, 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵?” This is what’s been missing from the Jewish response to the tidal wave of campus harassment, workplace hostility, and social media mob attacks since October 7th. Not more defensiveness. Not more “let me explain the nuance” hand-wringing. 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞. Make 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 answer for the ideology they’re defending. Force 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 to explain why they’re allied with a movement whose founding charter calls for the genocide of Jews. Phillips wrote this book after visiting Jewish communities in Britain, America, and Australia that were “struggling to cope with the relentless onslaught of lies, defamation and attacks” since October 7th (𝘑𝘦𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘭𝘦). The book covers how to handle verbal ambushes, psychological isolation, and what she calls the paralyzing “red mist” of anger that prevents effective response. Her closing line: “𝘋𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘵”. 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲’𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠.

The American people are desperate to be bombed to get rid of their regime denying them basic rights such as paid paternal leave and universal healthcare. I talked to my cousin in the States, he said people are praying for Iranian missiles. The US regime, the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the world, is at its weakest point right now and the American people want an end to oligarchy and foreign interference. If anybody wants to invite me on their show so I can express my deepest concern for the American people and their desires for Iranian missiles, while living in Europe, please let me know. I can also wear high heels, a miniskirt and dance for you.

Blaming working people for having "insufficient retirement savings" in a country where a tiny handful of rich bastards steal the hard earned labor of millions is absolutely depraved. These people worked their whole lives and the only reason they can't retire is Wall St greed.
The Associated Press@AP

After concluding decades-long careers at hospitals, universities and corporations, retirees are returning to the workforce due to insufficient retirement savings, rising living costs and a desire to stay active.
