Had to pick up a paintbrush again (after 12 years) at a “pasta & paint” birthday party. Of course I chose to paint the image ingrained into my heart: A farm scene with the popular Afrikaner symbol - a “windpomp.” The windpomp made large parts of SA’s land suitable for farming.🇿🇦
