@Renee_Hermans Hi Renée Thank for you message but unfortunately it’s not peatland - we are trying to open up some old channels in the flood plain at the bottom of the hill to allow it to recreate a wetland area

I’ve just been told that apparently we need planning permission if we want to restore wetlands back to their original natural condition. This will mean months of delay and many more £££. My excellent partners in the project are all the main eNGOs in Scotland so it’s not as if we don’t know that we are doing or are cutting any corners ! We really are making saving the planet very hard for ourselves……🤯🤬
