They race-swapped Amber and turned her from a chill comic girlfriend into a loud, entitled, emotionally manipulative “girlboss.” Worst part? She figured out Mark was Invincible early on, pretended she didn’t know, then had a massive meltdown accusing him of lying - while he was out getting brutalized and risking his life every single night trying to save people. That scene turned her into a nagging, manipulative control freak who wanted Mark to prioritize their relationship over saving people's lives, instead of being a supportive partner. They turned a low-drama love interest into a DEI checkbox who stole screen time from the actual story. Her absence this season is a massive improvement - it feels like the show is finally fixing its own mistake.
