What's stopping you from building a game room in your basement?

I feel like almost everyone in this industry has some kind of long term career goal or an ideal end game of their career. My career end goal is to serve as a Game Director or Creative Director for the duration of at least 1 game. What’s yours?

For once, I’d like to say “QA are devs too!” without some disingenuous person coming in like “Haha, actually…” and accidentally starting the “Are QA actually devs?” discourse. Every time this happens, I question if I’m stepping out of line and making myself look bad or entitled.
